Problems:

Observing through Zoom was basically impossible tonight. Extremely slow. GUIs do not refresh themselves automatically and took 2-3 minutes to refresh manually. Fortunately the ToO observers had no need to change their scripts or observing sequence so they did not need to interact much with the observer console. On the other hand, when it came my turn to observe (Kathy) I had to rush to the office since I just could not observe over zoom with those conditions. Observing from my office was fine, so maybe it is the laptop? We restarted the laptop and it seemed to improve for a few minutes but then it lagged terribly again to the point that was just impossible to observe. ITOps please check! I started a ticket on this (TOPS-12261)

Comments:

We had a late start due to high humidity. Seeing started regular but not as bad as the multiple condors flying in the afternoon over Tololo had predicted. It significantly improved toward the end of the night. ToO interruption of 4h for GW event S240413p was successful. Data flowing to the archive quicly and CP reduced data were available within minutes.

In the second part of the night, starflats for several filters, including N1008, were observed under Eng propID 2013A-9999
