NBTW was good to go this eve, with no whales appearing. The only issue seems to be the ongoing challenges with the dome vents. Tonight, 9 of the 32 vents did not open completely. At the end of the night, 2 vents (#7 and #27) did not close. I tried reopening and shaking the covers by hand, but neither got them to close any more. The vents are on the "possible improvements" list and with the increased funding for NBTW, we can take a look at working on them.

Program completed successfully, and while Leonardo was in the air on his way to see us, I crushed his queue. All targets observed, plus 4 more for program 428: HIP040724, HIP054677, HIP059000, and HIP063257.
Last night for me here at NBTW. Of 63 hours available for observing, I observed ... 63 hours. Actually, a little more. Good times!
