Telescope:
CTIO Blanco 4-m
Submitter:
Kevin Luhman
Submitter Email:
Observer Support:
Rodrigo Hernandez
Night Assistant:
Alberto Alvarez
Problems:
Opening of telescope was delayed by 2 hours because of concern regarding clouds.
Spectrograph software became hung several times and needed to be restarted each time.
Once when moving from one target to another in a different part of sky, the pointing at the new target was off by about 6 arcminutes.

I think that the operator was overly cautious in opening the telescope.
I think that this feedback form needs to be revised and updated. What's the difference between one box titled "problems" and another that says "describe any problems"? What's the point of asking the observer to enter data like seeing that can be automatically generated?
Observing would be more efficient if the telescope pointing was more accurate.
It seems strange for night reports to be accessible to the public online. The reasoning behind doing so is unclear to me.
The observatory should provide a means for observers to give confidential feedback.
