At the beginning of the night we had the same problems as at the end of the previous night. The slicer and the temperature of the iodine cell gave problems.
I tried to solve the problems by resetting the torrent and the computer that controls Chiron, which on some occasion had given results, but this time it was not like that.
With the help of Leonardo Paredes, David Rojas and Manuel Hernandez from the telescope, and Marco Bonati by telephone, we were finally able to find the solution to the problem. A connector of the slicer controller in the instrument was disconnected. We connected the connector in the right position. The iodine cell controller was also reset.
Once solved the problem of slicer and iodine cell, we saw that we had lost the focus of the instrument, which was corrected to finally begin the observations at 02:20 UT.
