Filters for SAMI
SAMI has one filter wheel with 7 positions for 3 inch square filters. We have acquired two new broadband filter sets for exclusive use with SAMI: a Kron-Cousins BVRI set and a SDSS griz set. We also have new Ha, NI, [NII] and [SII] narrow band filters, in addition to several redshifted Ha filters designed for the Fabry-Perot module (more details in this link). The table below shows the updated list of available filters, with the vendor-supplied transmission curves.
