The MASS team

The first MASS instrument was built in 2001 by a team from the Sternberg Astronomical Institute of the Moscow University (Russia) led by Victor Kornilov, under the contracts with European Southern Observatory and Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory.

• Dr. Victor Kornilov, head of the Laboratory of New Photometric Methods: management, optomechanical and electronics design Victor's homepage
• Andrei Zaitsev: electronics, drivers, system programming. Andrei died on February 24, 2002 of heart stroke.
• Ol'ga Voziakova: software development (user interface)
• Dr. Nicolai Shatsky: software development (data reduction)
• Sergei Potanin: fabrication of critical optical pieces like segmentator
