Problems: 

The Observer keyboard doesn't work. Replaced batteries and reset connections, still didn't work. Replaced with corded keyboard from another terminal in the room.

The windscreen is stuck _up_ at ~60 deg elevation. Modified observing plan to fit with this constraint.
