ENR CTIO Blanco 4-m 2012-12-14

Date:
Friday, December 14, 2012
Telescope:
CTIO Blanco 4-m
Submitter:
D. Kelson
Observer Support:
None
Night Assistant:
Claudio Aguilera
Also Present:
J. Annis
Problems:

The TCS died at the beginning of the night. So we lost 30min during evening twilight.

Comments:

What a fantastic camera!  Yes there are glitches (mainly due to, probably, the mirror having a sudden jump and the guiders

being slow to move the images back, and since the guiders take 20-30s to move back, this has a big impact on 120s or 180s

exposures), but for a new new new instrument, it is just AWESOME!
