Problems:

None of real importantance.  The only strange thing was that the "load" command did not want to display the last image taken, going instead for one 10 or 15 images earlier.  That persisted for a few minutes and then went away (??).

Major problem: Second-half of the night we encountered a major comm err issue with DECam that resulted in us being required to end the observations for the night ~1 hour early. At 7:48, the system failed (many red lights (comm err and those in the lower right hand of the in the LCS - Heartbeats)and engineers were called. However, with ~1 hour left in the night, it was not possible to repair the system to enable us to get back on sky. The cost to the program is moer than loss of DECam transient data, as the program coordinates 6 other major telescopes (radio, X-ray, gamma-ray) to be on the DECam target fields at the same time. We hoping the best that the issue can be repaired for our observations tomorrow.
