We did not open tonight because of high humidity ... although that turned out to be due to a technological snafu.  

The high humidity readings of >80% from the Tololo weather station were incorrect for most of the night.  We would not have opened until about 10:30pm because the humidity truly was high at dinner and a few hours beyond.  We were in the clouds, so those readings were correct.  But the station started lying to us around 9pm.  So, really about 8 hours lost rather than 11.5.

Of course, one of the Best Observatory People in the World, David Rojas, rebooted the weather station around 9pm on 16 AUG and another problem has been solved.
