04:45 UT On RR Cen, as last night, telescope drifts E. Sent video to describe what I found.
06:45 CHIRON "lost the thread" and skipped last of 4 observations (?) In this last try, CHIRON OptGui exposure time froze at 674.64 (out of 1200 s) while "hard exp time" in "green window" was still running. Exposure ended, file was created, spectra looks OK, header looks OK (file 1155) but Exp Time still frozen. Rebooted chiron, once back, fails to connect to telescope, tried to send Telescope to zenith, found TCS frozen (!). Cannot access the commands in the GUI. Rebooted TCS GUI, once back TCS User Interface displays a white canvas and nothing else.
08:45 UT After many tries finally the TCS GUI shows the expected menus BUT if I try a command (e.g. move to the closest bright) it answers " error > NO RESPONSE FOM TCS "
Electronics: PLEASE check the HW TCS (heurikon?)
So, call it a (bad) night. I used the plumb line and left telescope pointing to zenith.

A last comment: this report fails to be sent, in first try, because it had yesterday's date (!) which is automatic and should be 3 instead of 2....
