None. The observers are grateful that the request for good seeing was finally approved. We would like all the rest of our DECaLS nights just like this one, please. Pretty please.
The DIQ correlates closely with the difference between the low dome and mirror temps, which is well known, but we were surprised to see how much the low dome temp oscillated around (as much as +/-0.5C in some cases) over relatively short timescales (20-30 min). The ambient (outside) temp does not seem to show these variations, although it is a bit hard to tell from the graphs. Is there something that is dumping heat near where the low dome temp sensor is during the night?
