A major milestone was reached on August 23: The Blanco f/8 secondary has been mounted on the telescope for the first time since the accident. Recovery of the f/8 secondary and mirror cell was a joint NOAO South / North effort. In the picture: proud crew, with repaired f/8 secondary back on the telescopes.
