Kilpatrick group started observing around 00:30 UTC, after bulk of clouds had passed overhead. Around 00:45 UTC there was an error where a script was skkipped. We don't know if the problem was script related or istrument related.
We determined that decreasing the offset in the observing sequence script fixed the problem, and the offset could be applied with the "TCS offset RAoffset Decoffset" command.
It is extremely inefficient and difficult to interact with the NEWFIRM GUI over zoom. We would prefer to use the VNC directly or over a vpn
Durig the afteroon and durig the 2d half of the night, the filter wheel lost its position. Marco was able to fix it both times. Marco also worked on the timeout issues when performing observig sequences while guiding. We performed some prelimenary tests and it appears to be fixed.
