Problems:

Pump failed near the start of the night. David and Alvaro changed it.

Right at the start of the on-sky observations (after DECAL scan) we got Warning "Error transfering image 1153949 to comfort display" (1:09am). The comfort display showed indeed a missing bkp. The image however looked fine and complete when displayed with kentools. Two images later, we got an Alert with the message Missing CCD extension for image 1153953. *53 and *54 are indeed missing some CCDs.  SISPI was restarted and no problems after that.

Comments:

Engineering night.

DECal scans for filter N395 completed successfully. Filter was scanned with 1nm step, and scan was repeated with an offset of 0.5nm. Thanks to David Rojas for doing maintenance of the DECal cooling lines the day before.

Scattered clouds during all night so I did not do neither star flats not the sequence of a spectrophotometric standard star. Forecast for Friday night looks good so I will plan on doing those observations then.

Observed several globular cluster with new filter N395. Observations under Eng prop-ID. Also observed several SNe for Dillon Brout (2020B-0053).

I will observe tomorrow remotely from home. I will also be testing the DECam tunnel for the AnyConnect VPN client to be implemented soon.

Very nice to be back to observing at the mountain after too long!
