After starting with daytime calibrations, we once again ran into the problem of the detector being only partially illuminated. Sometimes we would get an exposure and other times the image would look like a bias frame. Javier and Humberto performed many tests and we can verify that a signal is leaving the Torrent electroics to open the shutter but the shutter remains closed. The problem seems to be coming from inside Sci-In Tech Shutter Control Box. We have removed the box from the electronics rack so we can work on it in the electronics lab. If it cannot be repaired, we will have to order a replacement. An update will be sent when we have more information.
