During afternoon calibrations, the controller to open the primary mirror cover stopped working keeping the cover closed. No spare controller card was found on site and consultations with M Martinez stated that there were none in La Serena. Help will be arriving tomorrow to help us devise a safe mechanical means to open and close the mirror cover.
