Date:

Submitter:

Observer Support:
Hernan Tirado
Night Assistant:
Claudio Aguilera
Also Present:
Ting Li, Raffaella Capasso
Problems:

Couldn't change to VR filter halfway through night.

Comments:

Couldn't get the VR filter into position at the second half of the night. Had to troubleshoot to get any filter move to go through. Then tried the VR a few more times at zenith, pointed west and pointed north, but couldn't get it to go in. Total time was 1.3 hours troubleshooting. Spent the rest of the night in the r filter after recovery, suffering from factor 2 throughout loss, equivalent to approximately 1.3 hours of telescope time for a total time loss of 2.6 hours.
