ENR CTIO Blanco 4-m 2016-11-07

Date:
Monday, November 7, 2016
Telescope:
CTIO Blanco 4-m
Submitter:
Michael Medford
Submitter Email:
MichaelMedford@berkeley.edu
Observer Support:
Hernan Tirado
Night Assistant:
Alberto Alvarez
Problems:

G filter failed to go onto camera when taking the last standard. Alberto reset the system and upon attempting to take the exposure interlock DECam (LATCH) was reported as "broken". The following alarms were then raised:
-OCS at 5:56: Interlock DECAM (SISPI) is now broken
-OCS at 5:56: Interlock SISPI (OCS) is now broken
-OCS at 5:56: Component(s) not ready for exposure: FILTER
-FILTER at 5:56: Status is Alarm. Filter will not move. Filter_status: PrevFailed, ADStatus: READY, Previous filter movement failed. Use reset_filter.

Alberto is continuing to work on finding a solution, but since were already at the end of the night we are calling it quits.

# Evening: Standards (SDSSJ0200-0000,WD0308-565_CCD_52json,SDSSJ2300-0000)
# Survey Exposures 591025-591277
# SN exposures: None
# End of night: Standards (SDSSJ1048-0000,C26202_CCD_35,MaxVis)
