00:31 local: After long slew from high airmass toward low mass, telescope brakes activated (and 4MAP failed at the same time --> causal ?). Intervention by T.O.s didn't work as normal, so they had to go upstairs and clean the tachometers. After this action, they recovered control of the TCS and I was able to continue observing. Time lost = 35-minutes.
DECal machine "failure" at 05:05 caused SISPI to fall over. Three minutes lost rebooting DECalS machine.

Apart from the small incident just past-midnight, 'twas a very smooth, stable Tololo night. We were accompanied by Mademoiselle Lune all night, but working in the z-filter, we were not too troubled by her brilliance.
