Telescope TCS failed twice in the early part of the night (UT 01:59 and 02:31) causing guiding and the exposure to be lost. On the second failure the TCS was booted from the kernel and SISPI was Configured. After correcting for a large pointing offset, the system worked without any other problems for the rest of the night. The failures cost us ~ 20 min.
The espresso machine does not work. Its presence just reminds us that we cannot have espresso.

Seeing was variable (night was warm, and the mirror was always much cooler than ambient).
