Read noise from prior night seemed to be resolved by switching which backplane had the master clock. However, when evening came we lost most of the PANs and sispi restarts etc could not fix them. Marco was contacted. When backplane 1 was set to master all other PANs lost their clocks. Since there was no way to communicate with the clockless PANs only a power cycle could restore them. Permission was obtained and the same thing happened. Backplane 3 clock was set to to be master again. The system returned to the same state as the prior night with backplane 1 being very noisy.
However the sensor S30 also appeared to be dead. The DES run manager (Reil) made the decision to not use the camera further and ended observations. Diagnostics should continue in the morning.
