At the very beginning of the night the guider didn't start. I thought I had hit the "Connect Guider" button, but perhaps it didn't take. I aborted the exposure I was taking, and tried again. The guider still didn't start. I restarted the GCS role and re-configured. Then the guider worked. Time lost was only a few minutes of twilight.
The rest of the night went very well.

This was an AAT night. The PIs, Dougal Mackey and Gary Da Costa were friendly, professional and competent and nice to work with. I took data for a photon transfer curve for the DES calibration team during the day. Unfortunately I forgot to change the prop-id to an engineering prop-id, so these flats went under the 2012B-0623 prop-id. But the DES team can still access them.
