CHIRON crashed at 06:40 UT: ERROR TIMEOUT (from panview core) << _ chiron ... file 1217 did not close (program was already completed.)
Restarted chiron and did a ThAr lamp to test the system: got 'ERROR 111 writing message". Did a second restart: failed, DHE comm issues. Third restart worked (tested a ThAr lamp and it worked, file 1217.) Left CALIB2 running.

Thanks to R. Cantaruti, O. Estay, H. Orrego and H. Tirado whom set up a working system that allowed us to resume observations.
Regarding this new system, please check the FUNCTIONS (e.g., F8 - ZPOINT) : seems not to be working and is needed in case we need to recover the pointing.
'HBC 679' have a close faint companion at NE, out of the fiber. Added a ThAr lamp after 'lambda Pav' sequence.
DIMM, RINGSS down? Used Pachon DIMM monitor as a reference. Around 9 UT, more clouds from SW.
I believe ThAr slicer lamps exposures of 1.2 [s] are generating 2 - 3 times more counts (EMAVGSQ) than the numbers I remember from last February.
Completed the program with the Sun at -11 degrees of altitude.
