Comments: 

Conditions

  1. weather in afternoon: 5 pm (local): Less wind gusts but increasing cloud cover all afternoon.
  2. weather after dinner: near 100% cloud cover, did not open Blanco or Rasicam all night.

Accomplishments

  1. Afternoon: zeros done, (ugriz) dome flats done & OK.
  2. Evening: Kathy Vivas started DECal scans after 10 PM. N964 coarse & fine scans completed 3:15 AM.

Minor Problems and Relevant Information

  1. Since there were overcast conditions, K. Vivas tested new .ini file prepared by Marco Bonati for the DECAL system. It worked ok and the filter N964 was correctly recognised. Two scans were performed with this filter: (1) A fine scan between 950 to 980 nm with steps of 1nm, and (2) a coarse scan between 300 to 1100 nm with steps of 10nm
