First half of night lost due to DECam system malfunction.

Getting to this report is an ordeal in itself!   I encounterd "ACCESS DENIED" twice, before the operator, notebook in hand, guided me through 
the secret passageway that brought me here.   I am sure that this information can be collected without annoying the observer at the end of the night...
and making him play a broken record......
