Problems and solutions

Comments

  1. Occlusion alarms:

    1. 271181; 6.25 degree delta, Zd = 29deg; donuts look OK
    2. 271185; 6.28 degree delta, Zd = 31deg; donuts look OK
    3. 271189; 6.26 degree delta, Zd = 36deg; donuts look OK, same problem as last night with half og

the FS4, FN2 CCDs with some sort of charge transfer problem.

  1. 271195; 6.25 deg delta, 41 deg Zd, donuts OK (some streaking in some CCDs)
  2. 271213; 6.6deg delta, 33 deg ZD, donuts OK
  3. 271237; 6.4 deg delta, 25 deg ZD, donuts OK
  4. 271240; 6.3 deg delta, 26 deg ZD, donuts OK
  5. 271242; 9.8 deg delta, 33 deg ZD, donuts OK
  6. 271270; 8.2 deg delta, 38 deg ZD, donuts OK
  7. 271273; 8.5 deg delta, 40 deg ZD, donuts OK
  8. 271285; 6.4 deg delta, 44 deg ZD, donuts OK
  9. 271312; del 8.1 ZD 44, OK
  10. 271318; del 6.3 ZD 37, OK
  11. 271321; del 6.7 ZD 41, OK
  12. 271334; del 7.5 ZD 44, OK

  1. shutter error at #271201, configure failed, SISPI restarted. 15 min lost. Interestingly SISPI kept executing the queue until it was restarted. It was not clear if what SISPI was displaying reflected reality. 2 bad images (271202 & 4). See also elog 152043
  1. windscreen up at 03:00 local. down again at 04:00
  1. TCS console computer crashed at 03:50, rebooted OK

Notes for Data Management

  1. Be aware of new objects “nightly defocus” an.d “nightly refocus” after p.m. standards “nightly defocus” and “nightly refocus” after p.m. standards
  2. Do not process the following exposures:

271202

271204
