At first ThAr_slicer lamp, noted a decrement of counts (compared to yesterday.) Reported it to Leonardo who found the slicer motor not working correctly.
Humberto Orrego kindly came and did an APH which recovered the slicer functionality. Lost 50 minutes at all. Likely the 2 objects already taken, are negatively impacted by this problem.
However, I still see the ThAr lamps dimmer than yesterday. I took the first lamps of yesterday and today and compared (imstat and imarith with "/"), both suggest today lamp is dimmer!. Might be an issue with the lamp power supply?? Check testThAr_1718 and testThAr_1817 under /home/data. On other hand, every time the calibration is requested, the system error message reads:
"positioning slicer motor to slicer position ...
resetting ...
homing ...
CHIRON ERROR (SLICER:HOME)
resetting ...
homing ...
CHIRON ERROR (SLICER:HOME)
[1] 8031
CHIRON ERROR command MOVE rejected on state ERROR..." (et cetera... in /mir7/logs/IOS...)
Is that a real homing position? Is the system failing to reach/detect a home detector, e.g. a limit switch or something similar?
