(1) Rolo and Omar worked with CLaudio and dRodrigo to test guider "follow" mode. Tests were successful. They can submit a more complete report.
(2) Tested telescope focus offsets of filters JHKs, 1644, 2124, and 2168. Offset direction (+/-) are in agreement with documentation prior to 2010. Actual values have changed since we have changed the f/8 contols since then. J=0; H=+40; Ks=+80, 1644=+20, 2124=+65; 2168=+180. All offsets with resppect to J focus.
(3) Telescope focus with J seems to follow same formula for f/8 instruments; as T increases focus decreases; 90 units per degree.
(4) Took some Galactic ceenter fields in Ks, 2124, and 2168. Don't know how useful theey will be given cloud cover.
(5) Marco updated some observig scripts for better functionality.
Was a productive engineering run. Once data are analyzed we should discuss plans for a Science Verification (SV) CfP.
