Problems:

Please take a set of dome flat calibrations after the engineering work in the morning.  We were not able to obtain flats in the evening of September 13.

Observing Plan

  1. standard bias and dome flat sequence
  2. evening standard stars
  3. run ObsTac queue
  4. end of night standard stars
  5. end of night zeros

Conditions

  1. weather: fog at evening twilight, intermittent
  2. weather during night: humidity started to decline after 21:00 local
  3. weather during night: photometric thereafter
  4. Seeing conditions: Median: 1.0 arcsec, rms 0.15 arcsec
  5. Wind conditions: 5-15 mph
  6. Humidity: 65% at start of observing

Accomplishments

Began with WF g, r, i then SN then back to WF r,i,z

  1. Afternoon: no flats or zeros
  2. Evening: no standards
  3. Survey exposures 677213-677306; 677343-677409

Minor Problems and Relevant Information
An evening storm was forecast and the telescope was protected
under a tarp —> no afternoon flats, no evening standards.

If the DM asessment is t,t and the Accept? column is not checked,
apply_data_gui appears to change the status to t,f instead of doing
nothing. This appears to be a bug, either in the code or in the
documentation.

Notes for Data Management
No flats for tonight: weather prevented evening flats, and engineering
will prevent morning flats. Request is in to obtain a set of flats
in the middle of the day (Sept 14).
