Observing Plan

  1. standard bias and dome flat sequence
  2. evening standard stars
  3. run ObsTac queue
  4. end of the night standard star
  5. end of night calibrations

Conditions

  1. weather in afternoon: Snow melting
  2. weather during night: Photometric
  3. Seeing conditions: Variable: 1.0” to 3.5”
  4. Wind conditions: 0 – 20 – 0 mph
  5. Humidity: 90% at start; dropped down to 35% starting at 10 pm

Accomplishments

Some WF. Lots of supernovae. Some good, some … let’s not go there.

  1. Afternoon: zeros done, (ugriz) dome flats done, checked, OK (see below)
  2. No evening standards.
  3. Opened at 10:30pm. Obstac cleared its throat with a few Y band, then g/r.
  4. Survey Exposures 676282-676297; 676310-676371; 676400-676402; 676435-676440
  5. SN exposures 676298-676309; 676372-676399; 676403-676434
  6. E1, E2, X2, X3r, X1, C1, C2, X3i, C3g, X3z, C3r, C3i
  7. End of night: Standards (SDSSJ0100,SDSSJ0200,C26202/HST)
  8. Wildlife report: 2 condors @ sunset

Problems tagged as Synopsis_Problem

Minor Problems and Relevant Information

  1. Possible occlusion on 676446 (std star)

Notes for Data Management

  1. Exposure 676143 (dome flat) threw a SISPIerror but seems OK.
