Observing Plan

  1. standard bias and dome flat sequence
  2. evening standard stars
  3. run ObsTac queue
  4. JSON files to force supernova fields
  5. morning standard stars
  6. end of night calibrations

Conditions

  1. weather after dinner: 7pm (local): Photometric
  2. weather after sunset: 8pm (local): Strong fog layer in valleys
  3. weather during night: 1am (local): Clouds on horizon, then overhead.
  4. weather during night: 4am (local): Clear, then cloud in SN fields. Thick at end.
  5. Seeing conditions: Median: 1.2 RMS:0.2, up and down during nite.
  1. Wind conditions: Up to 25 mph.

Accomplishments

A mixed bag of clouds and seeing.

  1. Afternoon: Zeros, flats; done twice since 1st started with wrong prop-ID.
  2. Evening: Standards (E6-A, E8-A, SDSSJ2140)
  3. Survey Exposures 675506-675715; 675746-675763
  4. SN exposures 675716-675745 X1 (griz), X2(griz), S2(griz), S1(griz), C1(griz)
  5. End of night: No standards
  6. Wildlife report: One condor

Problems tagged as Synopsis_Problem

Minor Problems and Relevant Information

  1. Couple of guider alarms while taking standards (?!)

Notes for Data Management

  1. Some of the 1st set of calibrations (up to 675372) have the wrong prop-id and were not delivered. Suggest just using the 2nd set of flats and biases.
