We had three filter track fails, two near the start of the night, one almost at dawn. Always when putting in the r filter, We "solved" these in three diffferent ways
(i) a reset_filter in the ICS plus configuring SISPI, so quick
(ii) the above did not work, and we recycled FCM power + restart SISPI
(iii) reset_filter was not working, and configuring SISPI "stuck" and SISPI bacame unresponsive and needed to be reatarted. Then reset_filter worked, block filter in, started queue but r filter would not go in. reset_filter again, block in and out, this time pout in the z filter which is opposite r in the slide, then took it out, then put in r, this worked, off we go again.
Klaus is going to look at the code, there is some strangeness is when reset_filter works and when it says "cannot be used". Moving the filters all out should be always allowable assuming the hardware allows it. In (iii) because of the very late (early!) hour we did not want to cycle the FCM power, and eventually succeeded. SISPI getting stuck and needing restarted may not have been related to the filter problem, it should not do this.
