*Observing Plan*

# standard bias and dome flat sequence
# evening standard stars
# run ObsTac queue
# end of night standards

*Conditions*

# weather in afternoon: 4pm (local): Cloudy with ~60% cloud cover
# weather after sunset: 9pm (local): Some thick clouds near the horizon on the west.
# weather at 1am (local): thick clouds on the west.
# weather at 1:50am (local): overcast. Telescope closed.
# weather at 3am (local): thick clouds on the west. Thin clouds near the horizon in all directions. Telescope reopened at 3:05am.
# weather at 5am (local): overcast. Telescope closed.

*Accomplishments*

# Afternoon: flats and biases, (ugrizYVR) dome flats done, flatCheck ok
# Evening: no standards due to obvious clouds.
# aTmCam and GPS Monitor checked.
# ObsTac completed.
# Survey Exposures 482060-482226 in grizY bands. Also includes SN fields: E1 (griz), E2 (griz), X1 (griz), X3 (ri).
# Post-night calibration.

*Problems tagged as Synopsis_Problem*

# CTIO GPSmon weather file missing. Email sent to David Walker and Rick Kesseler.

*Minor Problems and Relevant Information*

# Rasicam is still unoperational. Kevin Reil is looking into the problem.

#Observer3 machine does not find recent exposures, but Observer 2 does see recent exposures. That is, kenttools does not see tonight's exposures. Example from pointing/centering procedure:

prompt> center
./Temp/DECam_00425595.fits.fz
Applying CCD position corrections from /user/DECamObserver/skent/products/des-906/etc/decam.ccd

# Observer2, however, sees the most recent exposures of the night: 482059 from the pointing/centering test.

*Notes for Data Management*

# Due to overcast, program was stopped during exposures of supernova X1 field. Only exposures in g (482198) and r (482199) bands were taken before the telescope closure. The remaining exposures of X1 were taken after resuming the program.
# The second telescope closure due to overcast was during observations of supernova X3 field. Only r and i exposures were taken for this field.
