*Observing Plan*

# standard bias and dome flat sequence
# evening standard stars
# run ObsTac queue
# end of night standards
# defocus nightly

*Conditions*

# weather in afternoon: 4pm (local): Cloudy with ~60-70% cloud cover
# weather after sunset: 8pm (local): Very cloudy with thick dark cloud patches overhead and heavy clouds on south.
# weather at 1am (local): Some stars near the horizon but otherwise overcast.
# weather at 3:30am (local): Sky clearing up on east but still relatively cloudy overhead.

*Accomplishments*

# Afternoon: flats and biases, (ugrizYVR) dome flats done, flatCheck ok
# Second half of night: Took only 1 standard which is SDSSJ0100-0000 (airmass 1.6).
# aTmCam checked.
# GPS Monitor Checked.
# Although we opened up late, ObsTac completed for 4 fields in superb sub-arcsecond seeing (best record at 0.87").
# Survey Exposures 481223-481241 for SN-X2 (griz), C1 (griz), X3 (g), S1 (r).

*Problems tagged as Synopsis_Problem*

# Aborted exposure 481242 (SN-S1 r band) in the middle of ObsTac due to bad weather. DTS might not have read this out. The last exposure on "inv" is 481241.
# No end of night standards due to telescope closure from bad weather.

*Minor Problems and Relevant Information*

# Heavy dark clouds kept telescope closed up till ~4:15am.
# There is a brief 6.1 quake at 3:30am (local).
# Slight problems with active optics and seeing monitor when starting up telescope, but these were solved by the time telescope pointing check started.
# Rasicam is still unoperational.
# Closed telescope in the middle of ObsTac queue due to bad weather.

*Notes for Data Management*

# Due to clouds, exposures 481218-481222 might be compromised.
