Primary tabs

Date:
Friday, April 17, 2015
Telescope:
CTIO Blanco 4-m
Submitter:
Lori Allen
Submitter Email:
Observer Support:
Hernan Tirado
Night Assistant:
Claudio Aguilera
Also Present:
David James
Problems:

1) The data transfer rate from CTIO to La Serena was a bottleneck in our near-real-time processing, running behind by up to nearly three hours.

2) 4maps went offline twice. Total time lost to these two instances was ~18 minutes.

3) Focal plane temperature t3 bounced around erratically most of the night (+/- 2 deg C). Not obvious that this had an adverse effect on the data but thought it should be mentioned.
