At 10:20 pm Chilean Daylight Savings time, the SISPI interlock became unresponsive. The usual restart/configure troubleshoot steps didn't resolve the problem. Eventually Mauricio Rojas, Alberto Alvarez, Humberto Orrego, Mauricio Rojas, David Rojas were all present. They tried to fix the problem on the telescope operator's machine by rebooting the TCS machine, but that didn't resolve the problem either. Calling Omar Estay in La Serena for troubleshooting help. It became apparent that Observer1 was not communicating properly with the Observer Support machine ("TCSINTERFACE for next exposure returned: FAILED"), and moreover that the problem was on the Observer Support machine. After rebooting the TCS Application machine, the problem was resolved and observations recommenced at around 12:00 midnight Chilean Standard Time.
