Submitter:

Observer Support:

Night Assistant:

Problems:
We continued receiving warnings about Monsoon crate 3, faulting with value 8. Marco Bonati explained in the afternoon that these were essentially harmless, and refer to a faulty fan in one of the crates. At one point, the Observer Console browser hung up. Refreshing the browser cleared the problem, but the exposure history was jumbled upon recovery. Subsequent exposures restored normal behavior. No time lost. Architect console page hung at end of night, Katie restarted browsers which fixed the problem.
Comments:
Excellent night! Good seeing for the first 3/4 of the night, a bit worse for the last quarter. The cooling that Esteban and Javier installed in the cage during the day certainly didn't do any harm, and may have helped. At the beginning of the night, we had 0.9 arcsec in 600-second u band exposures, which we were quite happy with.
