Comments:

Last week: the telescope team did work on the pointing model and on
resurrecting the horseshoe mount damping motor. The telescope behavior
is much improved. One of the tasks tonight was to understand how much better.

If one „zeros the offsets‰ on the first SN field, the resulting pointing rms
is: ra,dec= 11.2, 15.8

The seeing was great all night, North or South. This means the tracking is
much improved. Avoid, if possible, observing within 15 minutes of the meridian,
which features slightly worse seeing but significantly worse ellipticity.
