Problems:
We lost VOIP phones at the beginning of the night.
The DECal server went down at the beginning of the night.
Comments:
An auspicious start to scheduled community observing. It was photometric all night. We followed the same field for most of the night (HDFS') and obtained seeing as good as 0.72" in Y.
Tracking & Guiding performed very well, but approaching the meridian an oscillation became apparent in guider correction signals, and in two images taken 20-10 minutes *before* the meridian large errors produced two images with poor ellipticity. I attached the DQ plots to illustrate.:
