Problems:
Dome shutter remains open after the end of the night.
During the observation of one of the targets, the telescope stopped tracking and started drifting rather quickly. I am not sure why this happened but all was fine when I slewed to the next target. I figured this was worthy of note here.

Looks like I indeed was wrong. Weather was clear all night and everything was mostly fine at NBTW.
Please note, the telescope is running Calib2 right now. The dome shutter still remains open.
For the schedulers, the following star was skipped from the queue because we approached twilight:
* A061700
Please note: The telescope lost tracking when observing V1793 Ori so this target was observed for 466 secs instead of 600 secs.
Okay... let's get back to another episode of the fourth season of ATV (A Man's TV) -- A Man's Journey in Estados Unidos
Episode 16 -- North Carolina and South Carolina.
Ah yes....the carolinas. Also known as The Tar Heel State and The Palmetto State.
North Carolina is an interesting state. They have a plethora of history here. For example, the first flight by the Wright brothers took place here and it is also the birthplace of Pepsi...whoa! You can also find more of the Bluegrass and folk music here. I have not yet explored the state much but I did get to visit Charlotte once. Like all major US cities, this city has many tourist traps such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame if you like auto racing. One of my top road trips that still remains on my bucket list, starts in this state and goes 400+ miles north of here, also known as the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully, I can get to do that soon.
South Carolina is also not as well traversed by me. But I did recently visit the city of Greenville where they had one of the best concerts I have ever been to. The city was so pretty and lush with trees. They also have a beautiful river that flows through the middle of the city where they have a bunch of parks and mini bridges built all around it. The river also turns into a waterfall which is so cool to see in a city. I won't lie... this was not at all what I pictured a town in South Carolina to be. I have yet to visit the famous city of Charleston, that allegedly is actually what the state is all about so stay tuned on that...
To the avid reader, I say this, if you want to take a scenic road trip somewhere in the country, try that in North Carolina.
But if you want to go try where the delicious Southern sweet tea originated from, visit South Carolina.
I give North Carolina a 4/10 while South Carolina gets a 3/10.
That's all for today folks. Tune in tomorrow for another episode of ATV!
