Problems:

Dome slit struggled to open completely, and would not close once 70% open.  R. Hernandez and J. Gonzalez inspected and found that a cable had broken.  Inspection of the outside of the dome indicated that the dome could rotate ok, so we observed with the dome slit as it is --- this did not seem to affect counts in spectra using standard exposure times.

Dome slit was left open and wind screen raised.

We DID NOT start Calib2 because of uncertainty about large amounts of sunlight in the dome and how that might affect the CHIRON system, e.g., possible chip saturation.

Comments:

NBTW performed well after 2.5 nights of rest.  The observers performed a little better, too.
